365 Vegan Smoothies Review

Those of you who know me know that I don’t like fruit all that much (I think the texture is what bothers me most). Well, I’ve been trying to incorporate more fruit in my diet and improve my breakfast options. This book helps me with both. Since the book arrived, I’ve a bunch of the recipes, including: Sassy Green Kickstart; Fresh Blackberry Buzz; Super Blue Recharge; Mojito Grape Frosty; and Chocolate-Covered Cherry. They’ve all been good and have allowed me to “sneak” in fruit I normally don’t eat.  I highly recommend it if you’re looking to add more nutritious meals to your diet or diversify your smoothie options. All of the recipes are quick and easy.  The author, Kathy Patalsky, is the person behind the blog Healthy-Happy-Life. Check out her blog for delicious and healthy vegan recipes. This book is a keeper!

    I like a good smoothie for breakfast but I miss chewing my meals when I do. But I find that drinking the smoothies incorporates more fruit into my diet than I would eat otherwise.
