Welcome to Vegan Librarian in the Burbs, inspired by the fabulous JL Fields, who gave a presentation at The Seed in NYC on how to expand your vegan activism by blogging.  She gave lots of great tips that I hope to use in some way. Thank you, JL! Fingers crossed that this turns into something worthwhile.

At the Seed, I got a chance to talk to some great people at Mercy for Animals, Compassion Over Killing and Animal Place and picked up some vegan goodies, including a DVD of the Turlock documentary, Treeline Treenut Cheese and a few other things.

I wish I could have stayed for a few more presentations, but needed to get home to my dogs. I did manage to grab a lemongrass five spice seitan sandwich from the Cinnamon Snail food truck on the way out. It was incredible! Looking forward to trying all the things I picked up.
